Biography | ||
Kevin Dye is the Director of Research for the Institute for 21st Century Agoras. He began his career in Systems Science & Design through the study of Thermodynamics winning the Ingersol Rand Faculty Award for Outstanding Senior in Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University, 1985. In the 1980's Mr. Dye co-founded Decision Support Systems Development Inc.. He then led implementations of Computer Aided Engineering systems and research on design processes for United Technologies Research groups which sponsored his appointment as Sloan Visiting Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1994-95. He went on to joined CWA Ltd. as the Chief Process Scientist designing large scale collaborative strategic planning initiatives. Kevin has designed projects for: Disease Elimination with the World Health Organization; addressing the Millennium Development Goals with the Buckminster Fuller Institute's Design Science Lab at the United Nations; National Leadership Forum for National Patient Safety Foundation, Modernization of the U.S. Food & Drug Administration; and Economic Development for Peace in Northern Ireland; the Future of Healthcare Assurance in the Northeast; Alternative Energy Futures in the Pacific Northwest; and the Future of the Creative Economy for a New England Coastal City. Over the last decade he has collaborated on the cultivation of scaleable deliberation technology as Senior Research Fellow for the Future Worlds Center in Cyprus. | ||
