ENROLLMENT CRITERIA

GENERAL Admission Requirements

The Admission Committee in collaboration with the Course Coordinators of the four Domains of NETS will decide the number available places for the program “PhD in Futures Systems Design” by end of the previous year, before the beginning of the new academic year.


MSc Program in Futures Systems Design
The minimum academic requirements are:
•    A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited institution, in related field.
•    Presentations in at least 3 international conferences
•    At least one publication
•    English Language Certificate


PhD Program in Futures Systems Design
The minimum academic requirements are:
•    A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited institution, in related field.
•    A Master degree from a recognized accredited institution, in related field.
•    Presentations in at least 6 international conferences
•    At least two publications
•    English Language Certificate


ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

Application Process

MSc Programme
To be admitted to the program “MSc in Futures Systems Design”, a student must meet at least the minimum requirements set in the “General Admission Requirements”.
The forms required are available for download on the NETS web site.
Available positions for new students will be publicized in the web site, in the press, the prospectus and various social media the latest during the last week of January, of the year prior the beginning of the new academic year. The deadline for applications will be the end of April of the same year.

Required Documents
1.    An Application Form submitted online through the NETS website.
2.    Two Academic References: Reference letters should be written and forwarded directly to NETS by two academics. The reference form of the NETS should be used.
3.    Academic Transcripts: Official transcripts or certified copies of the Subjects/Courses taken during previous degree(s). Transcripts should include the grades for each subject.
4.    Documentary evidence of research publications
5.    Proof of English language proficiency.

The Admissions Committee may call applicants for personal interviews, to determine the candidate’s compatibility with NETS vision and also to discuss with the potential student his/her interests and possible areas of emphasis. The Admissions Committee is responsible to select the successful candidates.

Applicants receive a notification of the outcome of their Application process, and those who are successful are invited to proceed with the formalities of their registration.
